Welcome
I’ve worked for over 20 years in health care analytics as a developer, consultant, data scientist, and data engineer. I have graduate degrees in mathematics and philosophy (logic, computation, philosophy of science). I just recently completed a Health Care MBA at the University of St. Thomas (MN) and I’m eager to write about the big problems in the delivery and cost of health care in the US.
Throughout my career, I’ve specialized in transforming complex healthcare data into actionable insights that drive better patient outcomes and operational efficiency. My experience spans building robust data pipelines, developing predictive models for clinical decision support, and leading analytics initiatives across diverse healthcare organizations. I’ve worked extensively with electronic health records (EHR) systems, claims data, and clinical registries, applying advanced statistical methods and machine learning techniques to solve real-world healthcare challenges. My unique combination of technical expertise and deep healthcare domain knowledge, enhanced by my recent MBA studies, positions me to bridge the gap between data science and strategic healthcare management.
